Ring Blower introduction & application

RING BLOWER (Regenerative Blower)

Ring blower is a machine used in various industrial fields that require the power of high pressure air and is known as a regenerative blower. It is designed and manufactured in various sizes and structures depending on usage and performance. It is a fluid machine that produces high pressure air with a low flow rate. There are two ring blower types, single and double ring blower according to the number and shape of the impeller. Single ring blower compresses air once with one impeller, double ring blower compresses air twice with two impellers.

It is also classified according to the type of impeller feathers, and there are open channel types and side channel types.

Recently, small and medium-sized equipment requiring low flow and high pressure is increasingly used for overcharging air, and is widely used in industrial high pressure blower requiring high pressure, septic tank for sewage and wastewater treatment plants, oxygen supply to farms, and industrial automation equipment requiring air power.

The ring blower uses the power supplied to the induction motor,
  1. 1 Suck air by the high-speed rotation of the impeller in the casing.
  2. 2 The Impeller grooves cut radially along the circumference of the impeller rotate in the casing.
  3. 3 Raise the pressure by changing of pressure caused by fluid friction.
  4. 4 Above is the principle that air is discharged to the outside.

The small ring blower is assembled as shown in the figure below. However, the structure and appearance of medium and large ring blowers are slightly different. H&H Electric's ring blowers are manufactured directly at the factory in Korea, not by an OEM method. There are normal ring blower divided by its size and number of impellers and special ring blower divided by driving method and special purpose of use.
Special ring blowers are followings; Belt Driven Blower is driven by attaching a belt to the motor, and it is used to increase the RPM by adjusting the ratio of the pulley. Coupling Connected Blower is driven by installing special motor such as the explosion-proof type that the user wants because the coupling housing is connected without a induction motor. Bare Shaft Type Blower can be used by contacted to power source in a place without power. Acoustic Blower is manufactured in a structure in which the blower is installed in a sturdy box with a sound-absorbing interior material, and is used to protect the blower from the outside and where low noise is required
